The mason jar sealer works well. Easy to use. We tried it a few times at first because the instructions are vague. We let the machine shut off itself, but it didn’t seal. Maybe we had some residue on the lid I don’t know. What worked for us was to stop the sealer before it stopped itself on the wide mouth jelly jars. So you press the button to start it. The timer on top will start to count the sealing time. Then we pressed the button again at about 30 seconds to stop the sealer. Then pull it off which is harder than you think it would be. That’s what worked on that very small jar. We haven’t tried a bigger jar yet.
I use the wide lid for everything. Celery, lettuce, carrots, berries - all are lasting amazingly long time in the jars. I have even been able to re-seal the lids if I am careful not to bend or damage the rubber when opening. Very good purchase. I am old and weak and can still push down to get a good seal. Highly recommend.
I have canned hundreds of jars of soups, produce, fruits, meats, sauces, just about anything edible and this is the first time I have used a vacuum sealer. It is an absolute game changer!!! The simplicity of the Love Moment Electric Mason Jar Sealer has changed my canning method. With four children and a crazy schedule, I always have to plan canning days well in advance. NOT ANYMORE! I now can ANYTIME and without the stress! I have saved hours, I mean HOURS, of my time using this device. I love this Mason jar sealer so much that I bought one for my sister!
I am so excited to try this AWSOME “canning” device that instantly seals mason jars! It comes with the two lid size adapters and charging cord-so it works on the go or anywhere you need it once charged up. It seems to really be the great sealer all the other reviews said and so far it works like a charm! The one concern for he is how much longer are my products/foods prepared this way good for or shelf life—so time will tell and for that I have to wait. Hopefully I get to wait a long long time with successful sealed jars. It also seems quite durable and I’m sure will last for years. Great product! I’m so happy someone created this-now if only someone could invent a fat shrinker! Hehe!
This is amazing! I have been disappointed at times with company claims but this little gadget is so good. I place placed blueberries that I had purchased 3or days before in a small mason jar and used the item. I was out of town for 2 weeks and when I returned the blueberries were just as good as when I placed them in the jar. No mold, no squishy ones etc.
